Distraction from the Daze

This month of ups and downs with P has left me in a real daze. I feel it the most when I’m not busy with work or taking care of the kids. I decided to treat us to a movie this evening, to entertain the kids and distract me from my dazed thoughts. I know that my head will clear given a little time.

The unanimous choice of flick was “The Tooth Fairy”, and a good choice it was. It had lots of slapstick for the kids, and just enough plot to keep me from thinking about P. Plus we had popcorn, soda and gummy bear candy. Real feel good food.

Maybe I'll stay up late tonight and watch the Australian Open men's singles finals -- live.  It has the makings of a great match, pitting Roger Federer against Andy Murray.
