After Halloween the year moves so quickly. I call it being in the sluices, with major holidays coming one after the other, sometimes with only a week in between. They kids are off of school, the snow begins to fall in the mountains, which means we have to go play in it. Plus in my family there are birthdays mixed in! No matter how far in advance I try to plan, I’m never able to keep up. Somehow, though, everything works out.
Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and it looks like H & K’s three sisters will be joining me, my mom, my friend Tracy, and her mom at my house for dinner. That’s a good sized gathering. Garcon! Table for nine, please!
Afterward the plan is to have the sisters spend the night – kind of a sleepover Thanksgiving party.
