Life in Front of a Crackling Fire

What did we do on this Veteran’s Day holiday? We played the game of Life in front of a roaring fire in the fireplace. It was our first fire of the season. Unfortunately we didn’t get to finish the game because, while I was taking a break to answer the phone, the kids got into an argument and turned over the game board! Why can’t we all just get along?
