Today was busy, what with five kids instead of just three. We had to wake up extra early to get everyone up, dressed, fed and out the door to where they needed to be on time. Plus the school held an SST meeting for A at 7:15am! SST stands for Student Success Team. This is a meeting involving the Principal, his regular teacher, resource teachers, and parents or parental representatives (that’s me) to assess the child’s strengths and weaknesses, and then propose a plan of action to hopefully get him back on academic track.
After work I picked up all the kids and then we went out for pizza. I was too tired to cook for this sized herd. Next came homework check and then the kids played outside a bit. Above is a photo of the kids playing in the front yard of our partially decorated house.
